UC Sport is the home of sport at the University of Canberra. Whether you’re interested in taking part in a social competition, representing UC in state or national tournaments or competing at an elite level, we can help you reach your sporting goals. 

Whichever sport you’d like to get involved in at UC, there’s a team ready for you to join! From athletics, hockey, cricket and table tennis, to netball, volleyball, all the football codes and more, you’ll find one to suit. Or if your chosen sport doesn’t have a team – simply start your own. There are so many ways to get involved in sports at UC!

If you’d like to represent UC in local and national sporting tournaments, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to do so. Compete against the best student athletes from 43 universities across Australia at the annual UniSport Nationals in sports such as basketball, athletics, swimming, surfing, cricket, snow sports and more. Or take part in intervarsity events against local and interstate universities in soccer, netball, tennis, futsal, ultimate frisbee, squash and even esports.

The UC7’s is the University of Canberra’s representative team in the Aon Women’s Uni Rugby 7’s series tournament. Each year our team compete against other universities from around Australia to try and take out the season. Recognised as a pathway for career progression, if you’re a player already involved in a rugby program, the UC7’s can help you reach the next level.
