Teaching Rooms

With over 100 lecture theatres, tutorial and meeting rooms to choose from, UC’s teaching spaces are the ideal setting for training sessions, public lectures and corporate presentations. Our spaces include built-in audio–visual equipment and can cater for guest numbers from 20 to 364.

UC Refectory

The UC Refectory is Canberra’s most popular venue for live music, with standing capacity for 1,700 people and regular visits from both big-name acts and up-and-coming talent. 

From formal balls and award ceremonies to trade shows and gigs, the UC Refectory is the perfect backdrop for your large-scale event.

With a variety of room configurations available and in-house pop-up bar facilities, the Refectory’s flexibility allows you to choose from a range of catering scenarios for your guests. 

Catering Packages

UCEventsx offers a wide selection of catering packages to suit your event, including canapes, banquet-style refreshments, or individual meal options. Whether you’re hosting an early morning conference with coffee and croissants, a light finger food lunch or formal three-course dinner, we’ll work with you to make sure your guests enjoy excellent quality food and beverage choices which also cater to their dietary requirements.
