The University of Canberra Capitals are the ACT’s most successful sporting team, with a league record nine Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) championships to their name.
Since its inception in 1984, the franchise has seen some of the biggest and brightest stars in professional basketball don its jersey including Lauren Jackson, Mariana Tolo, and current Opal, team captain Jade Melbourne.
The 2025/26 season hits 18 October, with home games hosted at the AIS Arena.
